Found on pg.05 of the Crimson Newsmagazine November 2019 issue. This investigative piece involved seeking out students impacted by the mass eviction of an apartment complex at the gateway of my city. I conducted interviews in Spanish & English, attended meetings and wrote the final story.

While collaborating with former magazine leaders, I collected & translated surveys and interviews conducted in Spanish, analyzed demographic data and co wrote the story.

While participating in an ethnic studies field course, I simultaneously worked on assignment as reporter documenting the events and goals of the field studies class.

This was my first brief written and published within 24 hours of the event. To prepare, I read up on budget definitions to understand the school district's crisis.
